The tour starts with the historical roots of the "Glass Hut" regarding the manufacture of glass, up to glass design of today. It takes 30 minutes for this interesting journey through time. The tour leads directly through the "witch's kitchen" of the glassmaker, where the secret recipe of Lauscha glass is protected. You experience firsthand, how rods and tubes are pulled. The show of light and fire is mixed with a direct entrance into the inner realm of the "Glass Hut".

Nowhere else can amazed spectators watch close up, how the glassmakers take the massive gather of molten, glowing glass by hand and pull it into 90 meter rods or tubes.
